A helping hand for natural composting
The HANDY 450 holds approximately 450 litres of organic kitchen and garden material. The anthracite Oeko version uses UV-stabilised HDPE with certified recycled material.
Insulated double walls retain heat generated during decomposition and help keep the edges from drying out. Mix shredded woody material with fresh plant waste, fill loosely and check moisture regularly.

According to STOECKLER, a well-managed hot phase can reach 70 °C and reduce many unwanted seeds, depending on duration and mixing. Cold weather slows decomposition. Empty the composter before refitting a removed side panel.
